The Explanation:

> "Gross income" means a party's total income before taxes and other deductions are taken into account.

> The amount of spousal support required is the total amount of support paid each month, not the total annual amount.

> Remember that the amount of the special expense which is shared is the net cost of the expense, after any deductions are applied or other contributions are made to reduce the cost of the special expense.

> Do not use dollar signs, commas or decimals.
